We had a great stay at Varanda Do Alentejo. The room was spacious, well-furnished, and had a wonderful view. The highlight was the excellent shower and jacuzzi tub with a skylight. The on-site restaurant, Varanda Do Alentejo, was outstanding with attentive service and a helpful staff. Free parking and a comfortable bed made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable. The location was perfect for exploring Marvao as it was easy to walk everywhere.
Felt very comfortable, no complaints whatsoever.

My stay at Varanda Do Alentejo was delightful. The location was perfect, nestled in the heart of Marvao. The room I stayed in was clean and spacious, and I loved the unique feature of having a private elevator access from my room to the restaurant below. The restaurant served delicious local cuisine, and the views from the outdoor seating were breathtaking. Breakfast was simple but of good quality. I had a wonderful experience at Varanda Do Alentejo and would highly recommend it.

The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a breathtaking view. The owner was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The location within the medieval walls was perfect for exploring. The breakfast had a wide variety of delicious options.
I did encounter a minor issue with the pillow and hairdryer, but I believe the staff would have resolved it promptly if I had mentioned it. Additionally, I was disappointed that the studio did not have a balcony as described.

The location of the hotel was stunning and particularly good - a 10-15 minute walk from a preserved medieval castle. I ate at a stunning restaurant for dinner. I stayed 1 night and would love to go back when visiting Portugal.

The location of the property was very central, making it easy to explore the area. The terrace offered great views and the rooms were surprisingly spacious with a TV in each. The modern bathroom was large and the small bar fridge was convenient. The included breakfast at the restaurant across the road was outstanding, with a variety of delicious options. Marvao, the hilltop village, was one of the best we visited.
Although we booked a studio with a balcony, it turned out that it didn't have one. This was a disappointment, but we believe it was just a language error and not intentional.

We had a fantastic stay at Varanda Do Alentejo - a small, cozy establishment with basic yet comfortable furnishings. Our room had a great view of the plains below, and the breakfast, though not buffet-style, offered a wide variety of delicious food. We were impressed with the warm and friendly service from Jorge, who was always ready to help.
Could not be improved in any way. 🌟

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in the heart of a beautiful town. The room, although small, was clean and cozy. The highlight of my stay was the restaurant across the street, owned by the same owner, where I had one of the best meals in Portugal. The staff were friendly and the owner made sure everything was perfect. The views from the property were absolutely stunning.

The location of the hotel was great, right in the heart of the town. It made it really convenient for us to explore and see everything in the area. Additionally, the hotel had a nice terrace with beautiful views. We also enjoyed the fact that we had a private elevator in our room. It gave us a sense of exclusivity and convenience.
The room was a bit small and the beds were unusually high, which made it a bit uncomfortable for me. I guess it's because they have arranged the rooms in an old house, but still, it was a bit strange.

I had the most amazing stay at a charming hotel nestled within a medieval village. The view from my room was absolutely stunning, overlooking a picturesque valley below. The restaurant was a culinary delight, serving delicious meals for both breakfast and dinner. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Despite the small size of the room, it was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the village with everything within walking distance. I also appreciated the convenience of the mini fridge and the comfort of the bed. The breakfast spread was exceptional, surpassing what you would usually find even in a 5-star hotel. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel.
